How to Install Audientis on macOS & Windows

Audientis runs in the browser and as a desktop shell. This walks through both routes and the audio permissions each one needs.

Run it in the browser (fastest)

  • Open Audientis in a Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Arc) or Safari 17+.
  • Go to Mix Mentor, Master Mentor or Stem Intelligence and drop a WAV, AIFF, MP3 or FLAC file on the upload stage.
  • Nothing uploads to a server — decoding and analysis run locally through the Web Audio engine on your machine.

Install the desktop shell

  • macOS: download the .dmg, drag Audientis to Applications, then right-click → Open the first time so Gatekeeper trusts it.
  • Windows: run the .exe installer and allow the SmartScreen prompt. Install to the default path so updates stay automatic.
  • On first launch, allow audio output access. Without it the meters stay silent and the analyser shows a flat line.

If audio does not play

  • Click anywhere in the page once — browsers block audio until a user gesture happens.
  • Check that your output device is not exclusively claimed by your DAW at 32-bit float only.
  • Set your interface to 44.1 or 48 kHz; unusual rates such as 176.4 kHz can stall decoding on some drivers.
