Cookie Policy

The cookies and local storage Audientis uses, what each category is for, and how to control them.

1. What we use

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We also use localStorage and sessionStorage, which work in a similar way, to remember things like your settings and whether you have seen the intro sequence. This policy covers both.

2. Essential

These are required for the service to work and cannot be turned off in the app.

  • Authentication and session tokens that keep you signed in
  • Security cookies used for fraud prevention and abuse detection
  • Checkout cookies set by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, to complete your order
  • Local preferences such as dark mode, notifications, animated meters and intro state

3. Analytics

We do not currently set analytics cookies. If we add them, they will be optional, used only in aggregate to understand which features are used and where the app is slow or breaking, and set only after you agree.

4. Marketing

We do not currently set marketing cookies. If we add them, they will be set only with your consent. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Managing your preferences

If we introduce optional cookies we will ask for your choice first and let you change it at any time. You can also control storage from your browser settings. All major browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear site storage for a specific site.

Blocking essential cookies will break sign-in, checkout and saved settings.

6. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by providers we use for hosting, authentication, checkout, error monitoring and analytics. They act on our instructions under contract, and their own notices explain their processing in full.
