Each deck gives you the tools you reach for live: beatgrid editing with tap and auto, 1–16 beat loops, cue, play, sync and master.

Library. Import your own files and folders, search by title, artist or key, and drag a track straight onto either deck.

Stem separation

PULL ANY TRACK APART.

Load a track and press Separate. METRA DJ splits it into four live stems — Drums, Bass, Instruments and Vocals — right on your computer, so your music never leaves your machine.

Four lanes per deck. Each stem has its own waveform, volume, filter, mute and solo — drop the vocal for an acapella blend or kill the drums for a breakdown.

Stays in time. Stems swap in at the exact playhead with no jump, and keep working with sync, loops, cues and scratching.

Honest limits. The separation model (about 166 MB) downloads once. Splitting takes from under a minute to several minutes depending on your computer, and faint traces of one part can remain in another — just like other DJ software.

Library mode

MORE MUSIC. LESS SEARCHING.

Performance mode puts the full decks, mixer, effects and creative controls first. Library mode keeps four stem lanes beneath each live deck, with Audientis Intelligence centred between them and your collection below.

Find your next track faster

See more of your collection at once. Search titles, artists and keys, sort the track list, and move between folders, crates and playlists without losing your place.

Keep the mix in sight

Both decks stay visible with play, cue and sync controls. Separate a track and control Drums, Bass, Instruments and Vocals directly below its deck, with individual volume, filter, mute and lit solo buttons. Stacked beat-match waveforms stay below the decks.

Browse without stopping playback

Load a track straight into either deck, then switch back to Performance for full mixing controls. Your loaded tracks and playback carry across both views—no need to reload your set.

COMPATIBILITY.

Browser
Runs today in desktop Chrome and Edge. Safari and Firefox lack controller and output-selection support, so METRA DJ shows a notice there.
Desktop app (macOS)
Standalone £120 one-time licence for Apple Silicon and Intel, macOS 12 or later. Currently an unsigned build — right-click and choose Open on first launch.
Audio routing
Master on channels 1/2 and headphone cue on 3/4 with a four-channel interface or controller. Separate cue output not yet verified on real hardware.
Controllers
Web MIDI controllers with MIDI Learn and a Numark Mixtrack Pro FX mapping. Physical controller testing still in progress.
Audio files
Your own WAV, MP3 and other browser-playable formats. AIFF playback not yet verified.
Account
Sign-in required. Browser access requires a paid Enterprise subscription, with no free trial. The macOS app is a separate £120 one-time purchase.
