Licence Agreement

This licence sets out what you may and may not do with the Audientis software, and confirms that you keep full commercial rights in the audio you produce with it.

1. Licence grant

Audientis Audio Technology grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Audientis — in the browser and as desktop applications — for the number of users and on the terms of the plan you have purchased, for the duration of your active subscription or trial. A one-off METRA DJ macOS purchase grants a licence to the purchasing account that continues until it is refunded, charged back or terminated for breach.

2. Permitted use

Within your plan you may:

  • analyse, process, export and release audio you own or are licensed to use, including for commercial projects
  • install the desktop applications you are licensed for on the computers you personally use
  • share exported reports and processed audio with clients and collaborators

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • copy, sell, rent, lend, sublicense or redistribute the software or your licence keys
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, or attempt to extract models, presets or algorithms, except to the extent this cannot be prohibited by law
  • circumvent licensing checks, plan limits, trial limits or technical protections
  • remove or obscure copyright, trade mark or attribution notices
  • use the software to build a competing analysis or mastering service, or to train a competing model

4. Ownership

The software is licensed, not sold. All rights, title and interest in the software and its intellectual property remain with Audientis Audio Technology and our licensors.

You own your audio, projects and exports. We claim no rights in your masters.

5. Updates

Updates, patches and new versions supplied during your subscription are covered by this licence. Updates may add, change or remove features.

6. Third-party components

The software includes open-source components licensed by their respective authors. Those licences continue to apply to those components, and nothing here limits your rights under them.

7. Term and termination

Subscription licences end when your subscription or trial ends. One-off licences end if the purchase is refunded or charged back. Any licence ends if you breach it. On termination you must stop using the software and remove the desktop applications from your devices. Audio and reports you have already exported remain yours.

8. Warranty and liability

The software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The warranty disclaimers and liability limits in our Terms & Conditions apply to this licence.
